Individuals who lack common sense eliminate themselves from the population. Populations that lack ethical boundaries and an ingrained sense of rights tend to implode. However our biggest obstacle isn't direct resistance to the idea of rights, but rather a massive distortion in our interpretation of what rights actually are.
